On Saturday, February 18, from 1-3 p.m., we will have our first activity with the Beulah Baptist Church congregation. We will join them for “Breaking Bread with Friends,” a time to get to know one another, learn about our congregations and have some fun. 
Both faith communities will bring potluck appetizers. Beulah Baptist will supply drinks and Cincinnati Friends will bring desserts.
We encourage as many members of the CFM community to attend as possible as we expand our Beloved Community, aligning with our Quaker testimonies and the Mighty Stream resolution we minuted. Our minister, James Newby, and Beulah’s senior pastor, John Ivey, met as members of EquaSion, which hosts the festival of faiths. They have been eager for our congregations to build a relationship.
We need friends to RSVP so we can see if we have the participation needed for a successful event and to help plan the potluck. There are two ways to sign up— a paper signup sheet on the table in the hallway and an online form that was emailed to you on Thursday. Please signup using either method.
Their church is 14 miles west of Cincinnati Friends in the Mt. Healthy neighborhood at 8126 Hamilton Ave, Mt Healthy, OH 45231. If you would like to carpool from the meetinghouse, please note that on the paper or online sign up sheets.
