In the first session, Max will cover his decision to become a conscientious objector and how it led to his alternative service in Ramallah; the issues in the Palestinian/Israeli situation he became aware of; and the “feedback” he received when he shared his perspective on those issues back in the States.

The second session will include the impact of the two Palestinian uprisings he witnessed (Intifadas) and their relevance to the situation in the region today.

Register by emailing the office at office@cincinnatifriends.org and you will be emailed a Zoom link.

Reading his book is helpful but not necessary to be part of the class. You can find his book at the following link: Palestine & Israel, A Personal Encounter
